Join our Birmingham Sigma Kappa Walk to End Alzheimer's team.  
The walk will be September 30th at Sloss Furnace in downtown Birmingham.
Registration will begin at 1 and the walk begins at 3.  
We will have a Walk social with the Zeta Sigma chapter so bring some cookies & join us!

Maria Shriver and HBO collaborated to produce a documentary about the advances in science in Alzheimer's research.  It is a two part series that also talks about the correlation between other diseases and Alzheimer's Disease.  To see the documentary, click HERE.

MoMA, The Museum of Modern Art, in New York has been a special program called Meet Me.  This program creates art engagement opportunities for the Alzheimer's patient and care giver.  Along with a tour of the museum by a docent, the patients are able to engage in an art project after their tour.

There is something special about music that helps us remember.  There is new research from Dr. Oliver Sacks, neurologist and author, about how music helps people with Alzheimer's and dementia.
